I love this song – don’t really know what good ole Sarah meant by it, but it is how I feel about you.

Your love is better than anything else that I’ve tried! It is comfortable and soothing like chocolate and ice cream.

The lines “everyone here knows how to fight” and “everyone here knows how to cry” are also true of our relationship. You have taught me it is ok to fight or cry about things and how to do it in the correct manner. I don’t have to be afraid that if I we disagree about something or if I get upset about something that you are going to cut and run. No, you get in there and help me get through it. It is so nice to have that. I think a lot of couples hide there feeling from each other and that is when they begin to resent one another.

What I think is most important though, is that we have learned how to manage through our issues without ever really getting to the fight – now the cry on the other hand comes up a lot on my side. But again, you make me feel safe and comfortable enough to release my emotions and discuss how I am feeling even when the emotions or feelings may not be justified or logical.

That is a lot of info, but when I hear that song I feel so blessed about the openness and honesty of our relationship.
